An absolute priority for the organisation is the health and wellbeing of our staff.

We know that we need to look after you so that you, in turn, can provide the best care to our patients - and this has never been more clear than during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

We offer a comprehensive staff health and wellbeing package that is open to all, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

This includes Occupational Health, Staff Support, a Freedom to Speak Up service and line management support, just to name a few. 

We also run a number of health and wellbeing initiatives, including regular Happiness Events, staff awards, a Trust-wide tea trolley service for free beverages and snacks for every member of staff, wobble rooms and family fun days.

We are thrilled that our health and wellbeing programme has been recognised at both a local and national level, and has won a national Nursing Times Award.
