Wiltshire Council, Swindon

Cllr Sam Pearce-Kearney

I am an elected member at Wiltshire Council and have represented Calne South for nearly four years. I am also honoured to have worked for the NHS for the last four years across commissioning. Now, I work in a Central London mental health Trust.

My day job, Engagement Lead, is all about involving patients, carers, volunteers, staff, and the community in the decisions we make, and I'm passionate about ensuring that the voices of these individuals are heard and valued.

I believe that open and honest communication is essential to building trust and fostering positive relationships with our patients, carers and other stakeholders. By actively seeking feedback, we  can gain valuable insights into the needs and preferences of people who use our services. This information empowers us to make informed decisions that truly benefit the community we serve. I'm excited to continue working towards creating a more inclusive and patient-centred healthcare environment.

Swindon Borough Council
