Many of our staff act as Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Champions who lead on promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in their area and support colleagues to address unprofessional behaviour such as bullying, discrimination, incivility and microaggressions.

EDI Champions are members of staff who have voluntarily undertaken training to act as ambassadors for equality, diversity and inclusion, helping to build a more inclusive culture across the organisation.

EDI Champions also work in partnership with our staff networks to actively support people in marginalised groups, such as disabled people, or anyone for who society has created barriers.
