Dr Nick Ridley - Consultant Radiologist and Sue Ellingham - Breast Care Nurse Specialist

DoctorAndNurse230x325"This is a very good place to work. For a district general hospital, I would confidently say that we're one of the most innovative in the country," said Consultant Radiologist Nick Ridley.

"It's one of the reasons I've worked here for nearly 20 years. Every day is unique and I still feel proud when I hear about the amazing lengths our teams go to on a daily basis."

Sue Ellingham works closely with Nick and has been an integral part of the Breast Centre team since joining last year.

She said: "There are plenty of opportunities to grow. Progression is actively encouraged which is great, especially if you're just starting out.

"I've been in the NHS since 2005 and, aside from the fact I love what I do, the benefits that come with it are fantastic - the pension is one of the best and there's a real sense of job security.

"There'll always be a need for people in the NHS, whether that's actually providing care or providing essential support behind the scenes."
