Community Matrons may arrange planned admission for IV (intravenous) therapy or transfusions.

It's important for patients to be supported to eat and enjoy their meals, so we discourage visits at these times.
Please speak to the Ward Manager if you need to visit at other times.
Your stay
Patients are encouraged to dress in their usual clothes where possible and to bring well-fitting footwear.
Please remember to bring:
- Glasses
- Hearing aids
- Toiletries
- Continence aids
- Nightwear
Mobility aids
If you normally use any walking aids or a wheelchair, please ensure these are brought in.
Our therapists will assess you using these aids to see how well they are working for you.
This will also help make the transition home be as smooth as possible.
Money
You may wish to bring a some money as there are a number of food outlets and services available on site.
Personal responsibility
Valuable items can be kept in a safe, but all all personal possessions remain your responsibility.
Laundry
Please make your own arrangements for laundry - there are no laundry facilities on site.
