Working in partnership with patients, families, friends and carers to improve our services

  • Are you a patient who has cancer in Swindon/Wiltshire?
  • Are you a cancer survivor?
  • Do you care for someone with cancer?

We would like to hear from you, as your thoughts and experiences can help improve the lives of others also living with cancer and beyond.

We are a small group of health professionals working together with patients or their families, friends and carers to improve the quality of local cancer services.

An essential part of developing and improving cancer care is listening to and acting upon the views of patients and carers.

As a patient representative you will play a key role in the group by helping to identify the issues faced in the cancer pathway and potential solutions.

The Swindon Cancer Partnership Group will meet four times a year, with attendance open to anyone who feels their experience can help make a difference to others.

Traditionally, the group meets face-to-face but given the current climate, the group will be meeting virtually via Microsoft Teams to avoid any risk of catching or spreading COVID-19, so attendees will need to have internet access.

If you would like to join us then please get in touch.
