Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates

Walk-in clinics are not open during the Coronavirus pandemic; instead, please call Swindon Sexual Health Service on 01793 604038 for advice or to make an appointment.

Change of location

From 8 March 2021, all patients who have an appointment with the Trust's Sexual Health department will need to attend their appointment at the Swindon NHS Health Centre, rather than at the hospital.

The services are moving to their new location on Islington Street at the start of March so that additional space can be made in the main hospital during the demolition and rebuild of the Urgent Care Centre and other services currently provided from the Clover building.

The appointments themselves will continue as normal in the new location, and patients booked in around this time will be contacted directly.

Going forwards, when you book an appointment, you will be asked to attend the Swindon NHS Health Centre and services are likely to remain there permanently.

Any appointments booked in before 8 March will continue as planned at Great Western Hospital.

For full details, please see the Swindon Sexual Health website (please see below).
