Swindon Community Equipment Service

Our Community Equipment Service provides equipment to help and support people of all ages who have a disability or health condition, or are frail or recovering after a period in hospital.

The appropriate equipment can significantly help you or someone you are caring for manage the demands of daily living at home, so they can remain independent.

A health care professional will make an assessment of the support needed and advise you of whether you meet the criteria.

Our equipment service will then arrange for the appropriate equipment to be delivered - and, if necessary, installed - in your home

We stock and supply a very wide range of equipment - from grab rails and ramps, through to hospital-style beds and dynamic mattresses, and many other items in between.

Our service delivers and installs the equipment routinely, and a counter collection or return service is also available for smaller items of equipment.

If you feel you, a family member, or someone you care for would benefit from borrowing equipment to help them with everyday living, please contact your healthcare professional, if they are having visits from Community Health Services.  If not, please contact Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy on the number below.
