This short-term support helps practically and emotionally to build your confidence and connect you to groups and services within your local community.

Carer Support Wiltshire is a charitable organisation providing support to unpaid carers throughout the county.

It helps carers to access support, services, education and training.

It can also help provide breaks from caring roles.

Citizens Advice Swindon

A stay in hospital can sometimes have a knock-on effect - causing problems in other areas of life.

For example, it may affect your work or have a financial effect.

The Citizens Advice Bureau offers a wide range of advice in these and many other areas.

Prospect Hospice

The Trust works closely with Prospect, which provides end-of-life care and support in Swindon, Marlborough and north Wiltshire, and in Lechlade and Fairford in Gloucestershire.

Supporting your recovery service (home from hospital help) and a supporting you at home service, which is enabling service users to get connected with the community to reduce isolation.
