Snow update

Information for patients, visitors and staff

Please don't travel to hospital unless it is safe to do so.

If you can't attend an appointment because of the snow, please let us know by calling the number on your appointment letter.

Please don't worry, we'll rearrange your appointment for you.

If you have an appointment scheduled, and you are able to travel in safely, please attend as normal unless you are contacted.

If you're expecting a visit from a community nurse at home, we are trying our best to get to all our patients but we may be later than planned.

We have plans in place to ensure we can maintain patient services during severe weather conditions and are working hard to ensure there is minimal disruption. 

Roads around the hospital site are gritted to make them as safe as possible, but please be very careful when walking around the site. 

A huge thank you to all of our incredible staff, many of whom have walked miles in the snow to get to the hospital or visit patients in their homes.
