Abseil challenge to benefit the Children's Ward

Brighter Futures abseilOn Saturday 12 October, Brighter Futures, together with Swindon children's cancer and leukaemia charity CALM, is hosting a charity abseil to raise money for the Children's Ward.

The abseil is taking place at Great Western Hospital, scaling the 90ft building.

It's not too late to take part. The abseil costs £20 per person and Brighter Futures ask that you aim to raise £80 in sponsorship to help this project.

ou don't have to have this sponsorship in place by the day of the abseil, but the team ask that you continue to support and fundraise for the project over the coming months.

All money raised will provide the Children's Ward with a donation to support the music therapy offered to children with long-term health conditions when they visit and stay at the hospital.

To book your place and select the time you wish to abseil, visit the Brighter Futures website: Charity abseil (www.brighterfuturesgwh.nhs.uk/events/charity-abseil/).

Age and weight restrictions apply.

Please read the FAQs on the Brighter Futures website (please see the link above) for further information before securing your space.

This is an amazing opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and scale our 90ft hospital, whilst having fun with your friends and raising vital funds for some of the hospital's youngest patients at the same time.
