To enable our patients to get the amount of rest they need to
assist them in their recovery, we operate a strict policy for
For the health and safety of patients, visitors and staff, this
includes restricting adults to two per patient, and children must
be supervised at all times.
Visiting outside of normal visiting hours can be arranged with
the nurse in charge and will be dependent on both the wishes and
condition of the patient.
Please do not visit if you have or are recovering from diarrhoea
and vomiting or have flu-like symptoms.

There is a choice of menu for every meal time.
For the first 24 hours you
will be asked what you would like to eat; after this time you will
be able to order your meal from individual printed menu cards; this
is done 24 hours in advance.
A hot drink is usually served at each meal time, mid morning and

If you or your family have any concerns, anxieties or
suggestions regarding your hospital stay, please do not hesitate to
speak first to the nurse in charge of the shift at that time.
