Annual Members' Meeting tomorrow

Posted: September 27, 2017

Between 5pm and 8pm at the Academy, GWH

Staff and the public are invited come along and hear first-hand what the Trust has achieved in the last year at the Annual Members' Meeting on Thursday 28 September.

It is a chance for anyone interested in the Trust's work to learn about the highlights, challenges and improvements of the last 12 months and be the first to find out the plans for the coming year.

The meeting is also a great opportunity to pose questions to members of the Trust Board and watch a fascinating presentation from the Cardiology team at the Great Western Hospital.

Attendees will also be able to receive free health checks, such as cholesterol and blood pressure checks, and take a look at a variety of information stalls.

Who are our members?

Members are people who have joined the Trust by either being a member of the public and resident in one of our constituent areas, or by being a member of the Trust's staff.

They take an interest in the performance and activity of the Trust and can also hold the Board to account.

For public membership, we cover six geographical areas: Swindon, Northern Wiltshire, Central Wiltshire, Southern Wiltshire, West Berkshire and Oxfordshire as well as Gloucestershire, Bath and North East Somerset.
