Booking Centre phone line temporarily disrupted

Information for patients wanting to confirm, rearrange or cancel an appointment

Incoming calls to the Booking Centre at the Great Western Hospital are currently being affected by technical difficulties.

Calls will currently ring continuously before being cut off.

The Trust apologises for any inconvenience caused and is working to fix the problem as quickly as possible. 

All other phone lines into the hospital are working as normal.

Patients and carers can still speak with a Booking Centre advisor by calling the Great Western Hospital switchboard on 01793 604020 and asking to be connected to the Booking Centre.

However, due to high demand, patients may have to wait before their call is answered.
