Recruitment day taking place on Friday 26 June

Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting nurses and therapists from across Wiltshire to attend an upcoming recruitment day at Chippenham Community Hospital.

Taking place on Friday 26 June between 2pm and 7pm, the recruitment day is open to all registered and unregistered nurses, whether experienced or newly qualified, interested in joining the friendly team at this community hospital in the heart of Chippenham.

Those coming along on the day will have the chance to meet the senior staff who work at the hospital, have a tour of the building, before taking part in an interview for one of the exciting positions available.

Adam Kirton, Head of Recruitment, said: "This recruitment day is a fantastic opportunity for any nurse living in Wiltshire who wants to avoid a daily commute to the larger acute hospitals in Swindon, Bath or Salisbury.

"A fantastic reputation"

"Chippenham Community Hospital has a fantastic reputation for providing patients with safe and quality care. Recent Friends and Family test data shows that 96 per cent of patients would recommend the hospital's Minor Injuries Unit while 80 per cent would recommend the care they received.

"As one of the largest NHS Trusts to in the south west, we are able to provide all our staff with excellent opportunities to develop their nursing skills and reach their full potential.

"This unique event is another example of the Trust's commitment to bringing a high quality workforce to all of our hospitals across Wiltshire."

Nurses interested in flexible working are also encouraged to attend as there will be opportunities to join the Staff Bank, the Trust's internal staffing agency.
