Come along this Saturday

The Great Western Hospital in Swindon will this weekend play host to a special recruitment day for experienced theatre staff.

Taking place on Saturday 11 April between 10am and 2pm, the recruitment day is a way for Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to expand its existing team of skilled and professional theatre staff.

Those coming along will have the chance to meet the Trust's senior theatre team, have a guided tour of the hospital and state-of-the-art theatre suite before sitting an interview for the position of either theatre nurse or operating department practitioner.

Adam Kirton, Head of Recruitment and Resourcing, said: "Our theatre team have a fantastic reputation for high quality care and professionalism so this day is a brilliant opportunity for anyone looking to broaden their horizons and take on an exciting new challenge.

"As one of the top Trusts to work for in the south west, people who join us in the theatre suite will be able to make use of a number of staff benefits including a fully funded one year preceptorship programme for registered nurses, which includes full study leave."

A number of leading medical companies will also be present at the recruitment day, showcasing the products, training and support that are available to Trust staff.

People thinking of attending are not required to register their interest in advance, visitors should report to the Academy on the lower ground floor upon arrival.
