GWH Trust holds Annual Members' Meeting

Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting local people to find out about the latest developments and improvements in patient care at its Annual Members' Meeting later this week.

The meeting will be held this Wednesday 17 September in the Academy at the Great Western Hospital from 5.45pm.

Alongside running the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, the Trust is responsible for a whole range of healthcare services across the Wiltshire community.

Vimbai Lyons, Governance Officer at the Trust, said: "The Annual Members' Meeting is a chance for members of the public to hear firsthand what the Trust has achieved over the last year, about improvements to patient services and how the Trust has performed against national targets.

Attendees will also be among the first to learn about the Trust's plans for the year ahead and will have an opportunity to put their questions to members of the Trust board.

Those attending the meeting will also be able to look around various health stalls and take part in free health and lifestyle checks such as hearing tests, blood pressure, cholesterol and BMI checks."

Please contact the Membership Office on 01793 604185 or email foundation.trust@gwh.nhs.uk to register to attend. You can also contact the Membership Office to find out more or send questions in advance.
