Raising the quality of care for people with Dementia

Come along to a study day on  Thursday 24th May 2012 about Dementia care.  The study day, 'Dementia - Keeping it in Mind' will be held at Swindon's prestigious STEAM Museum from 9am - 4.15pm.

*This conference is suitable for all health care professionals across Acute & Community NHS, Health & Social Care Network and Voluntary Care Providers. *

Some of the topics to be discussed at the study day will be:

  • The Role of the Memory Clinic, talk by Louise Conduit -Memory Specialist Nurse & Team

  • Dementia, Delirium and Depression, talk by Liz Colquhoun MH Liaison Nurse ~ Older Adults

  • GP's and Implementation of the National Dementia Strategy, talk by Helen Bown Commissioner NHS Gloucestershire & Dr Martin Freeman GP
