Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust hosts Annual Members' Meeting in Devizes

Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is giving the public a chance to find out about the latest developments at the Trust at its Annual Members' Meeting in Devizes later this week.

The meeting will be held on Thursday 15th September 2011 at Devizes Town Hall, St John's Street, Devizes, SN10 1BN from 7pm-8.30pm. Doors open at 6.30pm.

In June this year, Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust became responsible for the management of all community health services in Wiltshire together with community maternity services across the county and hospital based maternity services at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

The Trust is keen to reach out to local communities and give Wiltshire residents the opportunity to hear first hand about the past year, our priorities in the year ahead and the chance to ask questions of members of the Trust Board.

Bruce Laurie, Chairman of Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: "As a Foundation Trust we are accountable to the communities we serve through our members.  If you are interested in your local community health services and the work of the Trust, then I hope you are able to come along to the meeting to find out more about our work and ask any questions you may have."

For more information and to book your place, please contact the Membership Office on 01793 604185 or email foundation.trust@gwh.nhs.uk detailing any special requirements. Refreshments will be provided.
